History

Dreambag is the outcome of a business initiative conceived in 2002 by the founders Jakob Mellergård and Marcus Andersson. Jakob, having spent a couple of years in Stockholm, and Marcus, after a few years in Sydney, had a vision of a new event production company. They saw an event production company where not only parties and openings would be produced repetitiously, but that truly would use events to communicate a message. This would be an enterprise looking to be a driving force against which the rest of the industry would measure itself. In many ways this journey has been quick. Already today Dreambag is a leading company which carries responsibility for some of the country’s biggest and most exciting events. However, always keeping both feet on the ground is of the greatest importance; to be able to manage the small conference or opening ceremony with the same passion and attention. This is the vision that has led Dreambag to what we are today and it is this approach which will take us further. Dreambag has many large-scale visions. Welcome to be a part of them!

Starting in 2002 the business was run by Dreambag HB, and after increasing expansion the operation was moved to Dreambag Production AB in 2005. Ever since, the yearly growth rate has been 20% and the number of staff has grown from 3 to 7. The number of persons active in the company is around 50 yearly, who together plan and work out some 80 assignments each year.
